The Show ran a Scarecrow Competition again this year with the title being:- A Royal Theme. Entry forms were available from Willersey Stores from Friday July 29^th and they were returned by noon on Wednesday 24^th August. Scarecrows were displayed from Monday August 22^nd to Saturday 27^th for judging. Voting forms and a maps were available from Monday 22^nd and were returned by noon on Saturday 27^th August. Garden Voucher for the winner.
Prize winners for the Show (Eric Beadle Cup) and the Scarecrow competition were announced at 3:00pm in the Village Hall on Show Day.

The themes for the Photography in 2016 were:-

Silhouettes
Garden Ornament/sculpture
Farm machinery
The Hedgerow

For all the details for exhibiting at the Show, Schedules (with a green cover) were at Willersey Stores.
This gave any rules, guidance notes, Chairman's letter, Show Classes and an entry form.
(Please note only Willersey residents were eligible to win the Show cups).
Admission to the Show was £1 from 2:00pm on the day. The entry fee per item in a Show class was 20p.

All money raised from the Horticultural Show on 29^th August will be donated to Campden Home Nursing for the “brilliant work” they do in the area.

K9 Capers Fun Dog Show in aid of St Richard's Hospice Top Green, from 2:00pm in conjunction with the Willersey Horticultural Show Let's hope for fine weather this year! At last we had some. SCHEDULE Dog with the most Appealing Eyes Most Handsome Dog Prettiest Bitch Dog with the Waggiest Tail Best Condition Fancy Dress Dog Best Working Dog (no display) Dog the Judge would Most Like to Take Home Best in Show - from all 1st Place Winners £2.00 per entry - Rosettes to 6th Place Timed Dog Jumping all Afternoon Sponsors, The Bell Inn, K9 Capers, sal electrical ltd, Rowan House Boarding Kennels, Collins Broadway Butchers, Tini Owens Oakfield Farm Products Ltd.

Horticultural and Craft Show Raffle
The Village Hall Management Committee ran the Raffle in aid of hall funds at the Horticultural Show on Bank Holiday Monday 29^th August. Donations of Raffle Prizes or offers of help on the day are always appreciated. Please contact Jennie Bond, telephone 01386 853430 or a member of the committee.

Willersey Footlights
Once again had a stall at the Horticultural Show on August Bank Holiday Monday. If anyone is kind enough to donate any goods to us we will be very grateful. Items such as bric-a-brac, fancy goods, toys, and clothes will be very welcome. (Sorry but we can't cope with furniture thanks.)
