Newspapers in Willersey The Willersey shop closed on Saturday October 10th 2020 and with it the local availability of newspapers. For some years The Box of Delights in Broadway has delivered pre-ordered newspapers to a central location in local villages e.g. Buckland, Laverton, Stanton etc. for customers to collect. They also administer any subscription (tokens) arrangements that you have set up with a newspaper. Arrangements have been made with Willersey Garage for them to be the central point for collection (in the covered area to the right of the cash office). Please do not block the pumps when you collect your newspapers. If you go when the Garage is closed do take care to avoid the chains across the entrance. There is a charge by The Box of Delights for this service depending on your requirements as follows: Monday to Saturday £2.10 per week Monday to Sunday £3.10 per week Occasional Day £1.70 per day To participate contact The Box of Delights on 01386 853478 and establish your order and payment arrangement. Your newspapers will be available at the central collection point from 8am and throughout the day. They will be identified to you by surname and you may cancel or change your order at any time by contacting Shopwright. Whilst the process is more or less ‘self managed’ if you have any queries please contact Alan (858601) or Bill (858628) who made the arrangements. We are grateful to Willersey Garage for acting as the collection point. The Box of Delights will ask for a deposit of £50. You will pay for your papers monthly after receiving them. The deposit is to cover them for debts they have experienced in the past. The deposit will be refunded in full if you leave the arrangement and your payments are up to date. Any unclaimed papers will be collected the following morning when the next delivery is made.
