The Conservation Area was designated on 2nd May 1973 and reviewed on 25th September 1990.
The houses in the Conservation Area were built and modified over a period of about 600 years. On some of these pictures you can see ridges and furrows in the ground which are typical of the Cotswold area fields.
Some houses in Willersey have extensive gardens which is (sadly) not true of most modern housing developments.
